Dear friends and colleagues, dear muscle aficionados,

We are pleased to announce the 52nd European Muscle Conference, which will take place at the KIT Institute in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

EMC 2025 will open on September 10 with the Jean Hanson Lecture by Professor Leslie Leinwand. The conference will end on September 24 with the award ceremony.

The scientific program will cover a broad spectrum of cardiac and skeletal muscle topics, ranging from molecular structure to whole body physiology and pathophysiology. In keeping with the EMC tradition, we hope to create an environment that encourages both the meeting of experts in a variety of specialist topics and interdisciplinary dialogue.

We would also like to announce the Young Investigators Symposium, organized by the ESMR-Early Careers Association. The symposium will provide a unique opportunity for PhD students and early stage postdocs to present and discuss their work, and will take place on the morning of September 20, prior to the official opening of the conference.
